Description The project aims at developing a digital twin of a small satellite with particular application to STRATHcube in view of future analyses and the design of future in orbit demonstrators. The project will start from the existing tools for orbital and attitude simulation currently available in the Aerospace Centre of Excellence and will add high-fidelity models and simulations of all the subsystems composing STRATHcube and all elements and components of the expected in orbti demonstrator mission. Key Objectives The key objectives of the project are: 1- to develop/implement a high fidelity simulation of the attitude dynamics of STRATHcube 2- to develop/implement a high fidelity simulation of the torques and control forces acting on a cubesat 3- to develop/implement a high fidelity space environment simulation 4- to develop/implement a high fidelity simulation of all the subsystems on board STRATHcube 5- to develop and implement a graphic user interface that allows for an easy analysis of the mission evolution of STRATHcube and would allow to receive and process telemetry for future operations
