Description Space launch systems are a rapidly growing area, both in the UK and Scotland specifically, and globally with the advances and success of commercially driven launch systems such as SpaceX and Rocketlabs. New types of launch systems, including increased reusability and lifting wing-body designs are now potentially feasible, with numerous industries developing their own launch systems targetting small payloads with a view towards fast turn-around times for launches. This also means an interest from regulators into understanding why these new vehicles would fit into the existing airspace. This project would develop a visualisation tool for the output of an existing software tool that determines optimal, and sets of optimal trajectories for a user-defined launch system design.   Key Objectives 1- Research different platforms for visualisation tools that are compatible with Matlab 2- Learn how to use the trajectory optimisation software, developed in Matlab, and develop different test cases 3- Develop a software tool that can produce different visualisations of the mission including orbit and flight trajectories of the vehicle stages and satellite payload.
