Description Low and zero emissions vehicles are being developed for next generation personal transportation systems. There are many technical and engineering challenges requiring to be addressed both locally within the onboard energy storage and drive train systems and wider infrastructure requirements in order to support vehicle operations and maintain user functionality. This project will investigate the drive train and on board energy systems to develop an understanding of the operations of the relevant systems. From this an engineering investigation will be undertaken to establish and implement improvements to these systems and the impact these will have on vehicle performance and functionality. Key Objectives Identify the weaknesses with existing L-ZEV's Develop engineering solutions to improve performance and functionality
