Paul Tuohy
About me (research interests): I am interested in modelling current and future energy systems at component, building, community, city and national scales: Advanced buildings and building systems. Comfort and behaviour of people in buildings. Smart sustainable communities. Low and zero carbon technologies. Integration of Storage in Low Carbon Buildings and Districts. Design support, performance analysis, modelling, monitoring and POE. Renewables. Building regulations. Ecovillages. Passive House Design. Project Topics: I would be willing to supervise projects in the following areas: Renewable energy integration in buildings, communities and micro-grids. Integration of Heat Pumps and Energy Storage in Low Carbon Buildings and Districts. Future building performance, systems, standards and regulations. Renewable electrification of electricity, heat and transport. Hydrogen.
